Having not had Alien Labs for many years now, I was thrilled being able to get my hands on a drop of authentic dispensary jars. This review will be on Y2K. Upon opening, I instantly received a rush of black grapes, reminiscent of grape soda, with undertones of refreshing eucalyptus and slight rubber, displaying the Purple Urkle’s genetics. The buds looked amazing, having a perfect density and structure. They were light green, with purple hues, and rustic hydroponic hairs, sitting on top of a universe of trichomes, paying homage to it’s partial planet lineage. Upon inhaling, my palate was overcome by a complex infusion of sweet black grapes, a Gelato influenced gas and nutty backend, paying homage to one of its lineage strains; Dosidos. The three flavours collide in synchronisation and remain in uniform on the tastebuds upon exhaling, with none specifically dominating one another. The joint produced ash being a shade of medium to light silver, alongside an oozing oil ring. It smoked smoothly and tasted clean. An acquired taste for some, and although not my favourite, I can appreciate the crosses involved, as well as identify them separately. Overall, this flower tasted how it was meant to, and was an enjoyable experience. This strain’s unique flavour profile, among the current menus we see today, mainly consisting of Zkittles and candy strains, leave it unmatched, enticing me to rep*rchase in the future, especially if at a reasonable pr*ce.
