The last time I had a Wonderbrett flower was Pink Picasso during lockdown 2020, which was delightful. Unfortunately a lot of fake packs, along with labels started to flood the market soon afterwards, so I had to avoid. Luckily by chance I managed to get my hands on an authentic dispensary release of Wrath of Grapes, coming in a sealed jar. Upon opening, I received an instant rush of deliciously sweet grapes, with a well balanced gassy back end paying homage to the Jet Fuel Gelato cross. Although it was only two and a half months harvested, the buds were ultra dry leaving a faint hay smell at the end, losing the initial fresh scent. The buds looked amazing, absolutely doused with trichomes. They were light green, with rustic orange hairs, having a perfect density and structure, however they were just a bit too dry and crispy for my personal liking. On inhaling, my palate was greeted by the taste of sweet grapes, this sweetness quickly transcended into a gassy, slight chemical dominant OG and Gelato influenced backend, leaving a pleasant balanced taste of the two on exhaling. The final taste could have been improved if it wasn’t overly dried. The joint produced ash being a shade just under white, alongside an oozing oil ring. It smoked smoothly par the dryness, and tasted clean. Being the first time trying a dispensary jar from Wonderbrett, I must say I wasn’t overly impressed. It ticked all the boxes, but the flower was just too dry for me, which I understand has to be done for mould purposes, but it does compromise the overall flavour. If I had the privilege of purchasing this flower at the sensible cost it is retailed at and not double everything else on my review list, then I would repurchase. At the current price I found myself paying (not Wonderbrett’s fault) I would not repurchase.
