Don Merfos has been on my list since first smoking the Motittas. These guys have a gorgeous blend of strike to their smoke with a taste that comes in on a lingering smooth wave. Flavors in this is a gorgeous blend: Sweet, sour, hints of berries, funk, and yeah, a smooth exhale of something that tastes like the bite of maraschino cherries. You really are settled into place once the terps start to hit your palate, including flecks of grape that comes in halfway through a smoke.
The smoke in this one is as I’ve said, very smooth, even in the inhale. First few pulls will actually give you a powerful first hit, and you’ll find a buzz come up right under your eyes and sits on the back of your skull like a pillow. This buzz carries full body. It isn’t sedative in the body sense, but the mental, making it calm and even auditory quiet. I found myself sketching some preliminary work for a client, and being hyper focused into the paper. The high floated me through a good bit of the day, and lays over you for a good while. The smoke is perfect for getting tedious work done, or just chilling on a bored day. Overall, well done.
High, flavor, and quality wise I loved this flower. I personally wish the strike in the chest was a bit less gentle, but like I said that’s just me
