Having seen great things from Hi Tech, and being a big fan of Gelato 41, I was knew I was in for a treat. The name being a play on a Call Of Duty Black Ops gun, we have Ray-K 41. Upon opening, the smell of really sweet cherries infused with a touch of red grape hits me, which transcends to a slight smell of marzipan. It has heavy musty and slightly gassy gelato overtones. The bud has a good structure, it is light green, with peachy pink hues, and as expected; showered in a universe of trichomes. On the inhale, my tastebuds filled with the taste of an overwhelming musty Gelato and Cookie gas, with a faint hint of cherries. There was very slight marzipan undertones also. Overall being towards the gassier than sweet side. The joint had a sweating oil ring and decent ash, being a medium to light shade of silver. It smoked ok, but felt the smoke was a little harsh for my liking, but overall it was passable. I personally feel this one needs to be dialled in a little more, but overall Hi Tech don’t miss and are one of the main cultivators out there.
